I had the opportunity to attend a luncheon today at Fifth Third Ballpark coordinated by GRAPE, a local organization whose mission is to Educate, Connect, and Inspire business professionals who are striving for excellence. The topic today was "The business rewards of community involvement."
The speakers today really got me thinking about how fortunate we are to live in West Michigan. We are the 2nd most philanthropic city in the United States. Everyone agreed that community really means something different in the Grand Rapids area than in does in other similar sized cities!
How does your business stay involved in the community? We'd love to hear your ideas!
